Week 25: check through your year 10 sketchbook and ensure it is complete. Make sure you have no incomplete pages and that your artists links are in place.

Week 25: 2018 Externally Set Assignment. Ensure the completion of your sketchbook. The Externally Set Assignment timed sessions start on Monday 16th April. Be prepared.

Week 24: 2018 Externally Set Assignment. On 40 & p41 make some refined final outcome studies following discussions in the classroom with Mr Coultart. Use a range of materials. Due in Mon 26th March

Week 23: 2018 Externally Set Assignment.
On p38 & p39 make some final outcome studies following discussions in the classroom with Mr Coultart. Use a range of materials. Due in Mon 19th March

Week 22: 2018 Externally Set Assignment. On p36 & p37 make some initial studies and sketches for your main piece following discussions in the classroom with Mr Coultart. Use a range of materials.

Week 21: 2018 Externally Set Assignment. On p34 make 6 wet studies/paintings for your project. Use a range of materials. On p35 a further range of paintings from observation and imagination.

Week 20: 2018 Externally Set Assignment. On p32 make 6 drawings for your project. Use a range of materials. On p33 a further range of drawings from observations.

Week 19: 2018 Externally Set Assignment. - Ensure you have completed 7 sides of your sketchbook, up to page 31.

Week 18: 2018 Externally Set Assignment paper.
On p30 of your sketchbook, make a greyscale mark making sheet using a variety of materials from charcoal to ballpoint pen. On p31 of your sketchbook, make a colour mark-making sheet using a variety of materials. Look at p6 of the GCSE Art
Handbook or check these examples.

Week 16: Choose a starting point from the 2018 Externally Set Assignment paper. On page 25 of your sketchbook, make a title page. on page 26 and 27 make an artistic, decorative mind map of the topic. On page 28, make a study of an artist of your choice.

Week 14 and 15 Mock exam weeks - no homework set

Week 13: This is your eighth personal development. Over Christmas you must complete up to page 20 of your Externally Set Task sketchbook. Add studies or improve prior work. Focus on written notes and connections. See Mr Coultart to agree specific tasks. If finished, work on Y10 sketchbook.

Week 12: This is your seventh personal development. You must complete up to page 20. Add studies or improve prior work. Focus on written notes and connections. See Mr Coultart to agree specific tasks. If finished, work on Y10 sketchbook

Week 11: This is your sixth personal development. You must complete up to pages 19 & 20. Add studies or improve, enhance, embellish previous work. See Mr Coultart to make a detailed list of tasks. If finished, work on Y10 sketchbook.

Week 10: This is your fifth personal development homework. You must complete up to pages 19 & 20. Add studies or improve, enhance, embellish previous work. See Mr Coultart to make a detailed list of tasks.

Week 9 This is your fourth personal development homework. You must finalise your idea for your Main Piece by producing studies on pages 19 & 20. Ensure you know your list of materials. See Mr Coultart to make a detailed list of tasks.

Week 8 This is your third personal development homework. You must develop your idea for your Main Piece and produce studies on pages 17 & 18. Use a variety of media. See Mr Coultart to make a detailed list of tasks.

Coursework deadline: 3rdJanbruary 2018. Hand in all your coursework; this will consist of three projects as agreed with Mr Coultart. Each project should include a Main Piece, Preparatory sheets and a sketchbook. Sketchbooks must be in the boxes and Prep Sheets should be in folders in your drawer.
